Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design and oversee the development of scalable quantum computing architectures and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Drive the research and development roadmap, identifying emerging quantum technologies and integrating them into our product pipeline.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior quantum engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Protocol Development: Define and implement quantum error correction protocols and security standards to ensure system integrity.
- Strategic Vision: Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for the 2026 era.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware teams to optimize software-hardware interfaces for maximum performance.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree with significant industry experience is also accepted.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced distributed systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil) and deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles.
- Programming: Strong expertise in Python, C++, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Quantum).
- Innovation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment and adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
