Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the end-to-end software stack for autonomous navigation, focusing on the 2026 production timeline.
- Define technical milestones, drive architecture decisions, and ensure system scalability and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, safety, product) to integrate sensor suites and AI models.
- Lead architecture reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Develop strategies for data pipeline optimization and real-time processing.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, robotics, and edge computing.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in autonomous systems, robotics, or AI.
- Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Deep expertise in C++, Python, ROS (Robot Operating System), and modern AI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of sensor fusion, SLAM, and path planning algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
