Job Description
We are standing at the edge of the next technological singularity. As we look toward the pivotal year of 2026, the boundaries between artificial intelligence and quantum mechanics are dissolving. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Lead Architect to spearhead the development of our proprietary Quantum-Neural Hybrid Engine.
In this role, you will not just be writing code; you will be defining the operating system of the future. You will work at the intersection of high-performance computing, cognitive science, and quantum simulation to build systems that learn, adapt, and evolve in real-time.
Why join us? We are a fully remote-first organization focused on solving humanity's hardest problems through next-gen computing. We offer competitive equity, a top-tier benefits package, and the opportunity to shape the industry standard for 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable algorithms for next-gen AI processing on hybrid quantum hardware.
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to bridge the gap between software logic and physical quantum states.
- Lead a high-performance team of research scientists and engineers to define the technical roadmap.
- Publish patentable research and present findings at top-tier global conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, QIP).
- Optimize neural architecture search (NAS) techniques to maximize efficiency on limited quantum resources.
- Mentor junior developers on advanced computational techniques and system design patterns.
- Drive the migration of legacy deep learning models to future-proof quantum frameworks.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in deep learning, neural networks, or advanced optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical teams in a research or engineering environment.
- Experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq) or neuromorphic hardware.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical leadership.
