Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, scalable AI infrastructure capable of handling high-volume, low-latency requests.
- Model Development: Lead the research and implementation of advanced NLP models, focusing on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and multi-modal capabilities.
- Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical vision for AI at Nexus Horizon, evaluating emerging technologies like Agentic workflows and Edge AI.
- MLOps & Pipeline Management: Oversee the full machine learning lifecycle, from data governance and feature engineering to model training and continuous deployment.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring junior architects and engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for product managers, C-suite executives, and external partners.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all AI systems adhere to strict ethical guidelines and bias mitigation protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a Lead Architect or Senior ML Engineer role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- AI Mastery: Proven track record of deploying large-scale LLMs and implementing fine-tuning strategies.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex problems and architect elegant, scalable solutions.
