Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems to a diverse user base.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printer malfunctions, laptop errors, and application conflicts.
- Manage IT asset inventory and ensure accurate tracking of all hardware and software licenses.
- Assist with network configuration and security patching under the supervision of senior IT staff.
- Perform routine maintenance on computers, monitors, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base to improve future support efficiency.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve our internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows 10/11 and macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) within the first year of employment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
