Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and network connectivity for over 100 employees.
- Provide Tier 1 Help Desk Support: Assist staff with password resets, account access, and software installations via phone and ticketing systems.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining a secure, high-speed network environment.
- Asset Management: Track IT inventory, including laptops, peripherals, and software licenses, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users understand new technologies and processes.
- System Updates: Assist in the deployment of patches, updates, and new software releases across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ certification is highly preferred (we will provide training for the right candidate).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10/11, and basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and think critically under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work on-site at our New Orleans headquarters during business hours.
