Responsibilities
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job descriptions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for candidates in Charlotte, NC.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and that new employees feel welcomed.
- Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Coordinate and schedule internal meetings, training sessions, and company social events.
- Answer general HR-related inquiries from employees via email or phone in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with payroll processing support and ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Prepare monthly HR reports and assist with performance management documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- High level of organization and attention to detail when managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving employee issues.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
- Experience with basic payroll systems is considered a strong asset.
