The Role
In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between current capabilities and future possibilities. You will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement the roadmap for the year 2026 and beyond, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Define the Horizon 2026 Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap, identifying key trends in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech for the 2026 timeframe.
- Strategic R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives to prototype and validate next-generation AI architectures and edge computing solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical visions to executive leadership and board members to secure buy-in for long-term investments.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Oversee the pilot programs for emerging technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing product lines.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of global tech trends to predict market shifts and competitive advantages for Nexus Horizon.
- Talent Development: Mentor and build high-performance teams focused on futuristic problem-solving and technical innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in strategic technology roles, with at least 3 years in AI strategy or advanced computing leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning frameworks, and Quantum Computing principles.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of defining and executing long-term technology strategies that drive business growth.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for diverse stakeholders.
- Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or equivalent strategic planning certifications are a plus.
