- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic implications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future technology outlooks to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a technology radar system for continuous trend monitoring
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technology forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Proven experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFS)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and investment committees
