Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry summits
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven KPIs
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal capability in trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology consulting or corporate strategy with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leader with 10+ peer-reviewed articles or patents
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., Millennium Project, APF)
