Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Architect prototype solutions integrating AI, blockchain, and immersive tech for 2026 use cases
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to mitigate future disruption risks
- Produce quarterly future-state briefs on quantum computing, AGI, and neurotech advancements
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with agile sprints for rapid prototyping
- Present at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.) representing Horizon's vision
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, and human-computer interaction
- Proficiency in horizon-scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Track record of commercializing future-tech concepts (patents preferred)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF or CFS) or equivalent
