Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic frameworks to navigate regulatory shifts, ethical implications, and market disruptions in 2026
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and business transformation initiatives
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for emerging societal challenges
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on the future of work, technology, and human augmentation
- Build and curate a global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
- Champion ethical innovation by developing frameworks for responsible technology deployment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Ethics, or related field (or equivalent demonstrable expertise)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist research with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate abstract concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, causal layered analysis, and backcasting
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (white papers, journals, conferences)
