Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-political shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Horizon Reports identifying high-impact trends and strategic inflection points
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions and validate market readiness
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in emerging technology assessment and scenario modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Experience working with exponential technologies and disruptive business models
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic foresight initiatives
