Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis

- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports identifying disruptive forces and opportunities
- Design innovation pipelines for next-generation products/services targeting 2026 markets
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into development lifecycles
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Mentor junior futurists and build a foresight competency center
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with proven futures modeling
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Advanced certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Experience building foresight programs in Fortune 500 environments
