Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technological, social, and economic disruptions
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Present strategic insights to board members and industry partners through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation pioneers
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-ready leader
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data-driven modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic frameworks
