Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to guide C-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Build and maintain a proprietary ecosystem of futurist tools and methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging future scenarios
- Collaborate with R&D to align innovation portfolios with long-term market trajectories
- Establish metrics for tracking strategic foresight effectiveness and ROI
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in global organizations
- Published thought leadership in futurist or strategic journals
- Proficiency in foresight software tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
