Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate resilience) to identify strategic opportunities and threats for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and business objectives
- Author forward-looking strategy white papers and executive briefings
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Integrate ESG and ethical considerations into long-term strategic planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in strategic foresight or emerging technologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis platforms
