Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic shifts, technological disruptions, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry landscapes through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption, climate-resilient infrastructure, and neuro-ergonomic interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at Davos, TED, and Singularity University summits
- Partner with C-suite executives to future-proof product roadmaps and organizational resilience strategies
- Curate an innovation ecosystem through strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (e.g., blockchain adoption, metaverse evolution) with 85%+ accuracy
- Mastery of horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and computational forecasting models
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or Harvard Business Review on exponential technologies
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks and responsible innovation protocols
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning for Fortune 500 clients in renewable energy or healthcare sectors
- Fluency in at least three future-relevant domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized finance
