Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and socio-economic trends through 2030
- Lead cross-functional strategy sessions with R&D, product, and investment teams to align innovation roadmaps
- Produce actionable foresight reports and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer future-focused research
- Mentor junior futurists while curating an internal 'Future Intelligence' knowledge repository
- Represent the company at global conferences and thought leadership summits
- Design and execute innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk modeling
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, backcasting, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ high-impact future strategy implementations
