Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate industry shifts and future consumer behaviors
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused insights into development cycles
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against strategic goals
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging tech adoption and strategic foresight
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial success
- Expertise in AI, biotech, quantum computing, or other emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
