Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ technology trend forecasts through quantitative research and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to maintain organizational foresight capabilities
- Present strategic recommendations to leadership teams with data-driven impact assessments
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful 5+ year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced robotics)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management experience with C-level executives
- Certification in Futures Research or Innovation Management (e.g., CFRI, CIPM) highly desirable
