Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Produce actionable reports and recommendations for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic indicators impacting future business models
- Drive adoption of future-proofing methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, MBA, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Published thought leadership in future trends or innovation
- Experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation frameworks
