Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across emerging technologies (quantum, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with engineering and design teams
- Author trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Identify disruptive market opportunities and investment targets
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial strategies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or innovation frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
