As a key member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify disruptive technologies, forecast market shifts, and develop actionable strategies that position us at the forefront of industry evolution. You'll have access to cutting-edge resources and work directly with C-suite executives to influence our 5-year innovation pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market trends impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and impact analysis for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into prototyped solutions and minimum viable products
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Monitor competitor innovation strategies and identify first-mover opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation portfolios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives
