Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends shaping 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into innovation priorities
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate future-ready technologies into core offerings
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Identify disruptive opportunities across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability sectors
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and analytical tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial applications
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) strongly preferred
