Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and societal trends to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for board-level decision-making
- Identify disruptive market opportunities and competitive threats in next-gen industries
- Develop patentable concepts and proof-of-concept prototypes for future products
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (e.g., TED Talks, peer-reviewed journals)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience with patent development and commercialization of futuristic concepts
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex trends to stakeholders
