Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Identify and analyze disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Produce trend reports and scenario plans for board-level decision making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future thinking into product development
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Represent company at international foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to influence executive strategy through data-driven narratives
- Experience with AI-powered foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Foresight Engine)
