Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across tech, sociology, and economics to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term product roadmaps and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions using emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities and resilience strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight intelligence network with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Drive cross-functional alignment on innovation priorities and resource allocation for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in trend forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, Web3) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementation with measurable business impact
- Experience with AI-driven analytics tools for trend prediction and market simulation
- Global perspective with cross-cultural competence and network in innovation ecosystems
