Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to map innovation pathways
- Analyze global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate adaptation, neurotech adoption) for competitive advantage
- Design and launch experimental innovation sprints to test future-ready concepts
- Author quarterly trend briefings for Fortune 500 client partnerships
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with innovation focus
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology impacts (peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (minimum 3 product launches)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption
