Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to inform 5-year innovation roadmap
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions aligned with 2026 vision
- Author thought leadership reports on industry evolution
- Advise executive team on future-proofing organizational strategy
- Monitor horizon-scanning technologies and their commercial applications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and executive teams
- Published work on emerging technology impacts (whitepapers/articles)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (Lean Startup, Design Thinking)
