Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026+
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning with company vision and emerging tech trends
- Partner with C-suite to translate future insights into billion-dollar product strategies
- Curate and manage a global network of futurists, VCs, and academic thought leaders
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption timelines
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and investor boards
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Business, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Deep network in Silicon Valley's venture and tech innovation circles
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or future trends
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience advising C-suite on strategic innovation pivots
