Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and market trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks to predict industry transformations and competitive threats
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Create strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and Board of Directors for strategic alignment
- Lead workshops to foster organizational foresight and innovation culture
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of emerging technologies on business models and customer behavior
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record developing long-term innovation roadmaps for complex organizations
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent professional designation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementation
