Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive market shifts by 2026
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions using emerging tech stack
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI targets
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and tech ethicists
- Publish annual 'State of 2026' industry trend report
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in futurism/innovation consulting
- Proven track record of implementing tech-driven transformations in Fortune 500
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with complex visualization tools
- Experience scaling innovation programs across global organizations
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Prior experience in Austin/Silicon Valley tech ecosystem preferred
