Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Architect cross-industry innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead executive-level workshops translating future scenarios into near-term strategic initiatives
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Author quarterly future impact reports distributed to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Incubate moonshot projects with $5M+ innovation budget targeting 2026 breakthroughs
- Mentor internal teams in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of publishing in Future Studies Journal, TechCrunch, or equivalent tier publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Oxford Foresight Programme)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience facilitating C-level workshops with Fortune 100 companies
- Portfolio of implemented future-strategy initiatives generating $10M+ in value
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
