Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive forces
- Develop 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable business initiatives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and scenario planning frameworks
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams in future-proof methodologies
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities across geopolitical, technological, and ecological domains
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
