Responsibilities
- Architect AI roadmaps for 2026+ ecosystems, integrating quantum computing and neuromorphic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype generative AI solutions for healthcare, climate, and space exploration
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and superintelligence governance
- Publish whitepapers on AI existential risks and mitigation strategies
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through DARPA and NSF partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in AI safety research at our Stanford-affiliated lab
Qualifications
- PhD in AI/ML or equivalent with 10+ years in exponential technology strategy
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning or AGI alignment
- Track record of scaling AI systems from prototype to enterprise-level deployment
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF) and regulatory navigation
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Speaker at TED/WSJ events with 500K+ audience reach
