Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Spearhead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating AI, quantum, and bio-convergence domains
- Partner with C-suite to align technology strategy with business transformation goals
- Build and lead a specialized Future Tech incubation team with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Drive ethical framework development for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven impact in 3+ emerging domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Track record of launching at least 2 commercially successful innovations
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience leading global R&D teams in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Presentation skills for executive audiences (TED Talks, keynotes preferred)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFSF)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
