- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and emerging threats
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and investors
- Monitor global tech policy developments and recommend regulatory compliance strategies
- Drive innovation through hackathons and incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-defining innovations
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar foresight methodology qualification
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing complex vendor ecosystems
- Exceptional presentation skills with history of keynoting major tech conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
