Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) and their market implications through 2026+
- Develop technology roadmaps and adoption strategies aligned with long-term business objectives
- Champion innovation labs and pilot programs for next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build cross-functional partnerships with academic institutions and R&D consortia
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technological deployment
- Drive organizational culture of exponential thinking and adaptability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong executive communication with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
