Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions and regulatory impacts
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external partners
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology analysts
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or thought leadership in technology innovation
- Certification in futures studies or technology strategy preferred
