Responsibilities
- Develop long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces) for commercial viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions with 18-36 month development cycles
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with leading academic institutions and tech incubators
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing moonshot innovation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (AI/quantum/biotech)
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum algorithms, neuro-interfaces)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech design
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
