Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to prioritize innovation investments and R&D initiatives
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of futuristic solutions
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders and industry thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams on next-gen technology implementation strategies
- Drive patent development and intellectual property protection for novel innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar strategic foresight certification
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience securing $50M+ innovation budgets
