Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Develop scenario-based strategic models to anticipate and prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on technology adoption priorities
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure strategic technology initiatives' impact on growth metrics
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations at industry conferences
- Manage innovation incubation pipeline for breakthrough technology ventures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, or space tech
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent experience)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience with futures methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi studies)
- Fluency in strategic planning frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces)
