Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging industry trends and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning for exponential technologies and assess commercial viability
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate strategic foresight into corporate planning
- Present technology scenarios to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
- Mentor emerging technologists and build strategic partnerships with research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record in developing future-focused technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex technology ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading global innovation teams across multiple time zones
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
