Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with post-2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and climate-tech solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.) for co-development of breakthrough technologies
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for emerging tech incubation programs
- Chair quarterly Future Technology Council with external thought leaders
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation standards
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years' experience
- Proven track record in scaling technology portfolios beyond $500M
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent-tier journals
- Experience navigating regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management with Fortune 100 executives
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-tech innovations
