- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap, forecasting industry disruptions and market opportunities
- Develop and execute R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Build and maintain C-level partnerships with Fortune 500 innovation labs and academic institutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends and translate insights into actionable business strategies
- Manage a $5M innovation budget and lead cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investor stakeholders
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in emerging tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $10M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech with published industry insights
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in strategic forecasting tools
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation communities and VC firms
- Certified in Agile/Scrum methodologies with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
