Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR integration)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption impact and ROI
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to cultivate internal talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Exceptional analytical and predictive modeling skills
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology management (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Sloan)
- Portfolio showcasing technology transformation projects
