Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market disruption trends
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Design and launch pilot programs for breakthrough innovations with potential $100M+ market impact
- Partner with VCs and academic institutions to establish innovation ecosystems and thought leadership
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and C-suite with data-driven ROI projections
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technical architects
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems, or neurotech
- Executive presence with experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite teams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) or innovation management
- Portfolio of successful tech commercialization with measurable market impact
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
