Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics) and develop 2026 strategic implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships in emerging tech ecosystems
- Develop innovation KPIs and track progress against 2026 technology milestones
- Represent company thought leadership at global tech summits and industry forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (quantum/AI/ML preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (blockchain, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Experience managing distributed teams across global innovation centers
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
