Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Partner with VPs to integrate emerging technologies into product lifecycles
- Build and manage a $5M annual innovation fund for experimental projects
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams on technology adoption frameworks
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, Web3, AGI, or biotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Fluency in technology policy and ethical frameworks
